The Zimbabwean government has launched an initiative to deploy digital libraries in over 1500 schools across the country.

By providing access to a variety of resources ranging from traditional textbooks to digital media, libraries allow our students to engage in exploratory learning that fosters creativity and the development of problem-solving skills,” said Torerai Moyo, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education.

This initiative aligns with the government's commitment to promoting better access to educational resources, an essential foundation for human capital development and innovation in line with the National Vision 2030.

This strategic plan aims to transform Zimbabwe into a upper-middle-income society by 2030, particularly relying on digital initiatives.
