New historical and decisive discovery for the economy of the Kingdom of Morocco. As published by the Atalayar media, Rabat has just granted the exploitation permit for a new natural gas field in the Douar Oulad Belkheir area, in the west of the Maghreb country. 

It is not just another deposit, since the magnitude of the volume of this natural resource that can be extracted is enormous. The first studies carried out by the Gulf Sands exploitation company indicate that this 1.8 square kilometer field would allow daily natural gas extraction that would triple that of all of Spain.

This new discovery comes at a key moment in which the international economic context has been shaken by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent sanctions imposed on the country governed by Vladimir Putin, which has increased the price of natural gas, by restricting the import from Russia. Far from staying here, the Moroccan regime will continue exploring more natural resource deposits throughout a territory of 272,835 square kilometers.
