Between July 2022 and March 2023, Tanzania has registered investment projects worth a total of $4,387 million, as announced by Tanzania's Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Ashatu Kijaji.

According to the Minister, the country's efforts to improve the investment environment have begun to bear fruit. According to him, these projects should create about 39,245 jobs.

The number of investment projects registered during this period has increased by 34% compared to the same period in 2021/2022, said the official, adding that the Executive will continue to improve the investment environment to attract more investors, both domestic and foreign. .

According to the minister, of the 240 registered investment projects, 89 are local investments, 94 are foreign investments and 57 are mixed capital investments.
