The Tangier Med port reaches 3rd place in the 2024 global port performance ranking (CPPI), driven by technological innovations and an ambitious modernization strategy.

With a score of 159.6 points, Tangier Med surpasses major ports like Algeciras (12th with 142.3 points) and Port Said (16th with 131.2 points). These results, published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), highlight the effectiveness of Morocco’s infrastructure optimization policies.

To maintain its momentum, Tangier Med is betting on innovation. A digital electronic seal platform has recently been implemented, allowing real-time tracking of cargo. This revolutionary system enhances the security of goods, reduces the risk of fraud, and streamlines customs procedures.

In parallel, a state-of-the-art logistics supervision tactical center has been inaugurated. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, it ensures real-time management of cargo flows and provides greater responsiveness in crisis situations.

These advancements reinforce the transparency and reliability of Tangier Med for global operators. They are part of a three-year strategic project that consolidates its position as a key hub for international trade.
