His Majesty King Mohammed VI held, this Monday, December 4, at the Presidential Palace "Qasr Al Watan" in Abu Dhabi, face-to-face talks with the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. At the end of these discussions, a joint statement was issued.

At the invitation of the Emirati President, the Sovereign undertakes a working and fraternal visit to the United Arab Emirates. In the context of the working and fraternal visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Sovereign of the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco, to the brotherly State of the United Arab Emirates, following the gracious invitation of His Brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of State, both leaders held fruitful bilateral discussions with the aim of consolidating and elevating bilateral cooperation towards broader horizons."

From the outset, His Majesty the King, may God glorify him, congratulated His Brother Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, whom God preserves, for his auspicious and successful sponsorship of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai. The Sovereign also reiterated his warm congratulations to His Highness on the occasion of the celebration of the 52nd anniversary of the Union of the United Arab Emirates, praising the development, progress, and prosperity that the country is experiencing under the wise leadership of His Highness, as well as the prominent presence of the United Arab Emirates on the international stage.

In this meeting, the leaders of both countries rejoiced in the depth of genuine brotherhood and sincere affection, the relationships of mutual respect and constant understanding that bind them, expressing their complete satisfaction with the strength of the ties of fruitful cooperation and active solidarity between the two brotherly countries.

His Majesty the King and the Emirati President also reaffirmed their strong commitment to strengthen, continue, and further develop these exceptional relations, elevating them to the status of an innovative, renewed, and multidimensional partnership that encompasses all areas. An ambitious partnership in its goals, innovative in its consolidation methods, and advanced in its implementation mechanisms, based on common interests and in service of the two brotherly peoples

On this occasion, His Majesty the King, may God glorify him, highlighted the achievements that the Kingdom has experienced, especially in the field of infrastructure and structural reforms carried out in various sectors, as well as legislative and regulatory measures of support aimed at promoting initiative and investment. The Sovereign also emphasized the Royal Vision in promoting economic and social development in the country, based on productive investment beneficial to both parties.

His Majesty the King emphasized the great ambition driving Morocco to continue progressing on the path of economic and social development by launching numerous projects and investments aimed at achieving further advancements in the social and developmental spheres, especially in anticipation of hosting the final stages of the 2030 World Cup. In this context, the King ensures that fraternal countries and their partners are able to contribute to these achievements and access the numerous promising investment opportunities offered by the Kingdom.

On his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God preserve him, praised the success of investment projects initiated by the United Arab Emirates in Morocco. He particularly emphasized the opportunities and potential offered by the Moroccan economy in the investment field, as well as its numerous and diverse assets tied to a stimulating business environment and an atmosphere of security and stability that distinguish Morocco, making it an attractive investment destination.

In this context, capitalizing on successful experiences and based on the common will to continue strengthening fruitful cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, the leaders of both countries agreed to work together to achieve this innovative and renewed partnership. They aim to explore opportunities to contribute to economic and human projects, support human development programs for the well-being of both peoples and both brotherly countries, with the objective of elevating bilateral relations to higher levels and opening broader prospects in various areas of medium and long-term cooperation and partnership.

In this regard, the leaders of both countries provided guidance to establish common action plans for implementing the signed memorandums of understanding. Both Heads of State reaffirmed the willingness of the two brotherly countries to establish pioneering joint partnerships at the regional and international levels.
