Morocco and Spain have reached an agreement to reuse the Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline and bring gas to Morocco, Spanish media report. This agreement must be established after the adjustment of the technical details that must be finalized by the Spanish Enagás and its Moroccan counterpart. The gas is not that which comes from Algeria, but that which is purchased in international markets.

Morocco will be able to use the Maghreb gas pipeline (GME) in the opposite direction, which will reactivate the two electricity production plants that were paralyzed, highlights the Spanish press, which points out that the transfer of this gas requires a "minor" technical adaptation.
