The 13th session of the Joint Cooperation Commission between Mauritania and Senegal was concluded in Nouakchott, with the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding in various areas.
These agreements include, in particular, a framework agreement project for cooperation in the field of digital transformation, innovation, and administrative modernization, as well as a cooperation agreement project in the field of trade.
They also include a cooperation agreement project in the field of information, media, and vocational training, a protocol agreement project for cooperation in the field of public service and employment, a framework agreement project for sports cooperation, and an agreement project on entry conditions to the territory.
The ambassadors of both countries signed a protocol agreement in the field of combating human trafficking and migrant smuggling, a cooperation program in the field of higher education, scientific research, and innovation, a protocol agreement in the field of livestock farming, and a cooperation agreement in the areas of animal health, veterinary public health, and animal production.
These agreements were signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, and his Senegalese counterpart, Yacine Fall, Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs.
