The 15th edition of the African Infrastructure Forum will be held from November 26 to 28 in Dakar.
Under the theme "Transport Infrastructure in Africa: Breaking Barriers, Building the Future," the African Infrastructure Forum aims to promote a structural transformation of transport infrastructure in Africa and highlight innovative solutions to meet the growing connectivity needs and strengthen the continent's resilience to economic and climate challenges.
This three-day event brings together key players in the transport infrastructure sector, including government representatives, multilateral institutions, private investors, engineering and financing specialists, as well as policymakers. It serves as a strategic platform for collaboration and reflection among industry professionals.
It covers several topics, including the persistent issue of financing, the imperatives of economic and regional integration, urban mobility challenges, rural area decongestion, the development of regional corridors, as well as sovereignty issues related to national preference and the strengthening of the local industrial fabric.
