According to the Government spokesperson, Amadou Coulibaly, at the end of a council of ministers, Ivory Coast is among the top ten African economies by ranking ninth ahead of Tanzania

This announcement stems from a communication from the Minister of Finance and Budget regarding the performance of the country's economy, highlighting that Ivory Coast, with this ranking, becomes the third French-speaking country in Africa behind Algeria and Morocco, and the second country in West Africa after Nigeria, according to Coulibaly

This resilience of our economy is mainly due to its diversification, as the Head of State has committed to a structural transformation of the economy through its industrialization. This policy has borne fruit, as economic growth is driven by the secondary sector with a growth rate of 10% and by the tertiary sector with a growth rate of 8%, despite the fact that we remain an agricultural country with performance known to all,’ declared the Government spokesperson, as quoted by the local press
